Greg Vogt has committed to Ferris State University to further his athletic and academic career and will be running cross country and track for the Bulldogs. While a student-athlete at Anchor Bay High School, Greg had a cross-country personal best of 16:28 for the 5K, and on the track has bests of 4:39 in the 1600 meter run and 9:49 in the 3200 meter run. He earned Second Team Macomb All-County honors, was All-Region and a two-time state meet qualifier for cross country, two-time All-MAC Red for cross country, and a two-time MAC Red Champ in track.
Greg is planning on studying dental hygiene and chose Ferris State because "It had the right degree for me and the college town feel is what I want.” You can learn more about Greg and his running career in season one, episode 23 of The Blue Water Running Podcast.
Congratulations, Greg, and best wishes to you in your future endeavors!
