CHSL Intersectional Jamboree #3 - Marine City Cardinal Mooney
The weather felt more like summer than fall as local teams raced on Tuesday, October 3, and the heat was a surprising factor for this late in the season. As Marine City-Cardinal Mooney matched up for their last Catholic High School League Jamboree at Everest Collegiate High School in Clarkston, another challenge was the hilly course. “With 200-plus feet of elevation gain and non-stop rolling hills, it’s notoriously known as a tough course in our league,” said Cardinal Mooney’s Tyler Lenn. “The course we ran on is around two minutes slow.” Lenn paced the Cardinals with a second-place finish in 18:35. Isaac Zammit was fourth in 18:59, Max Procissi 12th in 20:11, Evan Jacobs 17th in 20:37, and Brennen Demeulenaere 43rd in 24:26. Cardinal Mooney placed third as a team.
